Our state-of-the art Vascular Laboratory provides accurate painless studies to identify venous and arterial disease, such as blood clots in your veins and clogged arteries. Our Vascular Lab is one of only a few in the state that is Nationally Accredited.
The Vein and Vascular Institute of Tampa Bay has the most technically advanced instruments available anywhere. Color Duplex Ultrasound is provided by the Philips EnVisor HD system – instrumentation known throughout the world as the leader in the field of imaging.
An integral part of our successful vascular lab is our staff. We have two nationally Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), dedicated in providing a superior level of painless, non-invasive vascular measurements.
Both of our vascular surgeons have spent an additional year of fellowship training in the vascular laboratory. During that time, they performed thousands of vascular tests themselves and were also involved in many research publications in the field.
In addition, Dr. Kerr has published many articles, book chapters, and co-authored an entire book on vascular testing. He is widely recognized as a world authority in non-invasive testing.
